ZOOM REDESIGN

2020

This project is in no way affiliated with Zoom.

In my Information Architecture I class in Junior Year, we were assigned to redesign the way that we used the Zoom video platform. Having used it every day for a number of months at the point of assignment, my classmates and I felt very qualified to critique the functional issues with Zoom’s interface.

My main focuses for redesigning this program were as follows; a straightforward layout, VERY CLEAR color signifying microphone/camera Off & On buttons, the ability to pin up to four people of your choosing in order to watch multiple instructors/classmates while they are presenting, and neatly tucked away messaging and emoji reaction features.
