THE WORLD OF TYPE

As a sophomore, I was assigned to design a book consisting of a collection of typography articles that we read as a class throughout the semester. I picked the articles that stood out to me the most, and designed the outside and inside of the book where they would live. This was the first time I really took on layout design of a publication, and I learned a lot about creating systems throughout the process of working on this collection. Though I may not have caught all my widows and orphans when editing, I think this was a great first project to tackle the concepts at hand.
