SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST FESTIVAL POSTERS

This project is in no way affiliated with the South by Southwest festival, Rico Nasty, Lizzo, or King Princess

When doing a project focused on the South by Southwest Music festival, I was assigned to design a set of three posters advertising three separate artists that would be performing at SXSW in Austin, Texas. I chose three artists that I knew; Lizzo, Rico Nasty, and King Princess. They are all very strong, female performers who I wanted to embody well and tie together with a cohesive poster series.

I chose a pink, blue, and white color scheme to reflect some of the feelings I get when interacting with these artists’ music.
